Spybot - Search & Destroy
Like Ad-aware, this program examines your hard disk for files associated with spyware. After the examination it provides a list of suspect files identified and allows the user to remove any or all of them. Note that many of the items identified are not in fact spyware, but rather items such as MRU (most recently used) lists which represent a very slight security risk. They are marked with green exclamation points, while true spyware is marked with red exclamation points.
